We are honored that you are interested in experiencing Word In Season Ministries in person! When you come to WISM you can expect:
A worship experience that is upbeat, free and draws you into the presence of God.
A message from our Pastor that is Biblical, practical, and relevant to the world we live in today.
A Youth Ministry experience that will have your kids begging to come back next week.
A student experience that will lead them into a deeper walk with God, along with other students facing the same challenges.
A place where adults (married, single, young, and old) can come and study, fellowship and learn the word of God in our Life Groups.
A casual atmosphere. Come as you wish!
More than anything our prayer is that when you walk through our doors you will feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. We look forward to meeting you!
Pastor Mack McCullough, along with his wife, Co-Pastor Freida, knew for years that the Lord had placed an unmistakable yearning in their hearts to be an advocate for Him and use all they have been blessed with to bring God’s word to the masses. Although they knew it was inevitable that this would one day materialize, they waited until they were certain that it was in God’s timing and not their own.
In 2007, after seeking spiritual guidance and support from their Pastor and spiritual covering, Bishop, Dr. G. Vincent Dudley of New Life in Christ Interdenominational Church in O’Fallon, Illinois, they moved out in faith and hosted several prayer meetings in their comfort of their home.
Shortly thereafter, realizing their home wasn’t big enough for their assignment, they secured the auditorium at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC). Although this had never been done before, this campus would become the location of Word In Season Ministries (WISM) first bible study. On April 8, 2007, after several bible studies, WISM proudly opened its doors to the public for Worship Services, with Pastor Mack preaching “Faith 101”.
His first message of faith would not only become one of the key foundational principles of WISM, but it would catapult the ministry to stretch outside of “normal” and move expeditiously in the supernatural.
After only one short year of beginning this journey, faith continued to drive WISM under its great Pastoral leadership to not only ask, but secure fifteen acres of prime real estate. This real estate was sold and intended for kingdom use long before pavement hit the road. On March 31st, 2013, Resurrection Sunday, an announcement came that confirmed again that WISM is on the right track, as we received, “Your Permission to Build has been granted”.
Shortly after reaping the benefits of believing that God can do anything but fail, WISM has gladly parted CGTC and is now prepared to make an impact in generation and generations to come at none other than “1520 Feagin Mill Road.”
WISM continues to grow and we continue to proclaim the Kingdom message as we stand on the promises of God. Having many members, each with their own unique spiritual needs, this growth continues to place a greater demand on the needs for a variety of ministries. Word in Season Ministries is sensitive to these needs and meets them by offering our youngest members, God’s Creation and “Children of Change” program. Our youth participate in “Raising Another Generation in Excellence (RAGE) ministry. Word In Seasons Ministries realizes the need for a holistic spiritual family, therefore we welcome the women to join the “Women of Destiny” ministry and the men are encouraged to join the “Soul Brothers” ministry. Our ministries of service include, but are not limited to, the needs of those in-house but we endeavor to reach all of the Middle Georgia community through our “Outreach” programs and “Missions” programs as well. From feeding the needy to taking an active role in the community we are Word in Season Ministries and we are a church called to bring transformation in life’s seasons through Discipleship, Fellowship, Worship and the Word.
